Cricket

Today we had a girls cricket tournament in the action indoor sports centre. At the start we did some bowling,batting and fielding with some woman from the Auckland Hearts. Then after that we did some competitions like from fastest bowling and most catches caught from a team. There we 2 year groups year 5/6 and 7/8 I am in the 5/6 group for the fastest bowling and I got 88km per hour. Then we played a 12 over game against St Ignatius. We batted first and I was opening with my friend Mollie we got 24 runs altogether from 3 overs. And overall we got 93 runs then we were fielding. I bowled first and they scored 4 runs of me. And I got 2 catches and 7 run outs!. Then it was prizegiving I got fastest bowler out of year 5 to year 8 and I got a Auckland Hearts shirt. It was a really fun day.

Winter Field Day

Last Tuesday I had a soccer tournament for all the school around the are. We drew our first game 0-0.Then we played against Cornwall park school and I saved a penalty and this hard shot from very close, the full time score was 1-1. After that we played Meadowbank and won 1-0. Next we were playing kings school they are very good also we got a good result 0-0. We were all happy because that meant we got in the semi finals. My team won the semi finals 1-0 we were so excited and happy. We were going to play kings in the finals this was going to be a tough game, the final score was 1-0 we lost. But we were not disappointed because we did well

Soccer Game

On wednesday I went to watch the NZ under 20's mens team play Taheti (the club champs).Lisa took me there it was played at north harbour stadium. Since Wynton Rufer and his wife Lisa and sons(Josh Rufer and Caleb Rufer) are my next door neighbours I see them alot. Caleb was in the NZ under 20's team. They were going to play on artifical grass because the grass was too wet. We were 10 minutes late bacause of the traffic. Then I watched the game the under 20's was going well and soon after that Caeb got a penalty and he scored then about 5 minutes later they scored again the half time score was 2-0. The under 20's goalkeeper got injured so they put on their second keeper who was playing badly and let in 2 goals 15 minutes after half time. It was a pretty close game but then the under 20's scored to make the score 3-2.There about 5 minutes left and Taheti kept attacking then we hit the cross bar with about 20 seconds to go and everyone was up front then Taheti shot and scored with 5 second to go so the final score was 3-3

Prize giving

Today I have just had soccer prize giving. I got best player and the whole team got medals for coming equal first place for the second division and we got handed the team photos. After that we had a parents vs kids soccer game that was fun because we beat the parents 7-2!

My Trip To Sydney

On Wednesday I left to go to Sydney to see my uncle and younger cousins. Me and my Dad went on jetstar we were only staying for 4 days because i have soccer. The flight was about 3 hours I couldn't wait! When we got there my uncle was waiting for us in the airport car park. About 5 minutes later we found him and went to his house to see my cousins and Kareema( Aunty ). It was my birthday as well! I had a great day. Also for dinner our friends came over and I opened my birthday present it was some clothes. The day after is EID in the morning we went to pray. Then had breakfast/lunch at the park then went home so my 2 younger cousins aged 6 months and 1 year old went to have a nap and my other cousin that was a bit older doesn't nap in the day. Then at 6.30pm we went to the EID show it has lots of rides and fun stuff then at 7.30 we watched the fireworks it was a very fun day. Then the next day we stayed at home most of the time. The day after that we went to the park and had a BBQ and played soccer. It was so fun that we might be going to see them again in 4 weeks

sports exchange

Today I had a sport exchange it's been ages since we last had one because of the bad weather.We played Dillworth school soccer team.They only had 1 team since it was a small school so my schools A and B team played Dillworth. When we got there we put our boots on and got ready, then we did a warm up.When the game was about to start we took our positions and waited till the whistle blew.Dillworth started since they were the home team,The whole game we were all over them they didn't even have 1 shot. Jamie scored the first goal minutes later, then goals kept on coming and coming. We won 5-0 but we could have done much much better, we didn't play that good

Soccer party

today I am going to bigups then go to Reece's house (graces dad). Bigups was really fun and exiting all the games were cool. There was Sumo Wrestling,Bouncy Boxing,Climbing Wall,Gladiator,Human Fly,slide and last of all table soccer.My favourite was the climbing wall and slide.After that we all went to Reece's house and played Nintendo WII and had pizza and cake! Then we played more games at their house,also I was the second to last person to leave since it was so fun I got home at 9pm. Then watched the last 10 minutes of the warriors play the eels
